Renewable Energy (energy sources that are naturally replenished) These projects create carbon credits based on the development of sustainable energy sources that reduce our reliance on fossil fuels - such as solar energy (energy harnessed from the power of sunlight), wind energy (energy harnessed from the power of wind) and hydro energy. (energy harnessed from the power of flowing or falling water)
Community
These projects create carbon credits based on the introduction of energy-efficient technology to undeveloped communities.
Waste-to-Energy
These projects create carbon credits based on harnessing methane (another greenhouse gas) from human, agricultural or landfill waste to convert into energy.
